It is with great sadness that the family of Christopher Dinh Nguyen announces his passing. Christopher passed away at the age of 15 on April 30, 2020, after a 6-month battle with pediatric liver cancer. Christopher will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Cuong and Cindy, as well as by his sister Christine.
Christopher was immensely strong and selfless. He silently endured any anxiety and pain to try to ease his family’s worries. In addition, he was a person who was always prioritized the wants and needs of his family before his own.
Despite facing unimaginable challenges at such a young age, Christopher never let it hinder his passions. Christopher was a knowledge seeker that loved talking about his various and constantly growing interests. He loved using his creativity to design and build things. He grew up making Home Depot crafts and woodshop projects, and he enjoyed playing games that involved spacecraft or facility design. Christopher was also an aspiring pilot that had big dreams of attending a flight academy after graduation.
To both family and friends, Christopher was someone they could always relax with and enjoy a good laugh.
A funeral service in memory of Christopher will be held on May 8, 2020, at 10.00 A.M. at Peek Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Loma Vista Memorial Park, and formal prayers will be given at Bat Nha Temple. The family encourages all who knew Christopher to attend to share memories and celebrate his life.
